Oxford Press -- Reading Resources for ESLers

I like the Oxford University Press reading series for ESL students.

They have the classics & other enjoyable texts in different levels of reading ability.

The chapters are also divided by activities and content pages similar to an ESL textbook.

The book on the right is from the Bookworms series.

It has six stages from beginning to advanced readers.

To the right is a link to Oxford's Dominoes series - for beginning to pre-intermediate readers.

Othere materials include audio and/or video as well as other teacher resources.

As noted on the left, the Dominoes series is for lower level readers.

It has three levels.

These resources are great for American ESL teachers who face pressure to make their class material "relevant" to the work done in normal English Language Arts classes.
